  • Have easily accessible tools to help integrate feelings of safety throughout your day.

Our body's natural ability to heal and be in a state of health can soar once we learn that we are not broken and that we are safe. I believe we all have the power within us to make the profound shifts we need to live our soul's desires and to live in vibrant health. I would love to be your guide in helping you through your healing journey.

What is TMS Mind-body Work?

This method suggests that the brain creates physical pain to distract itself from repressed emotions or fear.

All of this pain IS real.

In today’s world, we are bombarded with psychological stress. However, we are not encouraged to feel our emotions as they arise. Therefore, we suppress anger, fear, sadness, and feelings of overwhelm. Our primitive brains are designed to run away from bears, tigers, and other predators. In modern times, our brains cannot differentiate between emotional stress and physical threats. They send danger signals in the form of pain, fatigue, anxiety, and other symptoms, just as they would if we heard a lion’s roar.

The brain can get stuck in these patterns through learned neural pathways, long after the stressor is gone. This stressor could be life stress, an injury, or an illness. Doctors call this neural pathway pain or Mind-Body Syndrome. Dr. John Sarno originally named this Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS).

Using this TMS healing method, we can create new neural pathways for well-being by soothing our nervous system and learning how to process and allow our emotions. By learning that we are safe and not broken, we can become free from chronic pain and debilitating sensations such as chronic fatigue and much more.
